on hosting a visitor in a collective residency

1. each participant takes a tour with the visitor, the tour should be given in their own language. talk about daily life from the collective perspective and mission.
2. briefing should be displayed as a game. each element completes the sentence of the other.
3. make a map, choose the best song, make an offer, pick up a ritual.
4. ask him/her what they desire.
1. GIVE THEM THE KEY. COMFORT, CLARITY AND FREEDOM
1. be gentle with your visitor.
2. make him/her sweat.
2. LET THE VISITOR START A NEW RITUAL FOR THE GROUP
4. give him/her coffee in the morning and wine in the evening.
5. allow him/her to penetrate and to be penetrated.
1. We are all visitors all the time. in the space of the other, in this space. Maybe a collective is just an illusion.
2. Try two ways: * adapt yourself to the energy of the visitor. Let him change the energy the collective has already built. * Don't let the visitor effect the system of the collective. continue your way and drive, and let him find the way to join.
3. BOTH SIDES SHOULD BE OPEN TO RESHAPE THE COLLECTIVE
4. Let this moment be a time to reflect on what has already happened. observe the collective as if you are the visitor.
5. Make it as a game - repeat the moment of him entering the collective again and again. check what repetition of the first meeting point will create.
4. VISITORS BRING NOVELTY. EMBRACE IT.
2. Drastic changes in your program or any changes will make them feel like visitors.
3. Some visitors like to feel like visitors, some don't. See to which category they belong and act according to that.
4. Have a drink.
5. Visitors leave traces.
5. GIVE THEM FOOD, OFFER THEM COFFEE, A NICE BED AND A TOWEL , simple basic things can make a whole difference between a familiar feeling or not.
2. Share the things you've done already including the new person into the mind set of the group, but be also ready to listen to the wishes/expectations from the new comer.
3. Be ready to change some strategies for the sake of the cohesion of the whole - change is good, friction is good.
4. Be also ready to be strict with the strategies that were set for the group, if they worked before, they might work again - repetition is also good.
5. Remember to share details like schedules and habits on the functioning of the group, each detail matters.

1. Give them time.
6. IMAGINE THEIR PRESENCE BEFORE THEY ARRIVE. PREPARE WELL.
2. Welcome them with a warm hug, or appropriate culture convention. Show them all the spaces where you will host them and how everything works.
4. What is the intention of the visitor? What is the intention of hosting the visitor? If you know this you might be able to avoid any awkward misunderstandings.
5. Allow the visitor to change the dynamics. Of course this will happen but embrace it rather than avoid it.
1. My place is your place, what is good for my body is good for your body and vice versa.
2. Try to have only visitors smarter/better/tender than you.
3. You cannot weigh the soul of a person at the end of a visit.
4. Too much attention can kill the presence.
7. A VISIT IS NOT A LECTURE
Bonus: We visit this world in the shape of a body.
1. Hosting. Welcoming. Greeting. A state of mind. A matter of permanent work.
2. To give a space, a sit, a map and keys, to make someone free to move.
3. Be aware of each one's roles, of your own. Redistribute.
8. REDUCE AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE WHAT DISTINGUISHES A VISITOR FROM THE OTHERS
5. One can profit from a fresh curious perception on an already established context.
